Beef Marinade

I made this over the weekend - it's a basic marinade, but I'm thinking it would be great thickened a bit and tossed with whole wheat pasta and some veggies - I will work on it more this week and let y'all know what sort of luck I've had.

3/4 c reduced sodium soy sauce
1/4 c canola oil
1/4 c honey
1/4 c water
3 scallions, chopped
4 garlic cloves, finely chopped

Mix together in a bag and throw in your meat, marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
While the meat is cooking bring the left over marinade to a boil for at least 5 min. and use as a sauce for the meat.
